MSC Special Edition 2021

Traditionally held in February, the MSC is the world’s leading forum for foreign and security policy. Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year’s MSC had to be postponed to a later date in 2021. However, in order to provide senior leaders with a globally visible platform at this critical time, the MSC has decided to host a Special Edition at the very time and place the MSC 2021 would have kicked-off normally. The order and number of speakers are still subject to change in the coming days.

On February 19, 2021, the MSC Special Edition “Beyond Westlessness: Renewing Transatlantic Cooperation, Meeting Global Challenges” will assemble some of the world’s most senior decision-makers to discuss how to rebuild and renew the transatlantic alliance and highlight the areas in which transatlantic and international cooperation are most urgently needed. The MSC Special Edition will feature key issues that will be revisited at the main conference and in other MSC formats throughout the year.

Format

The MSC Special Edition will be produced on February 19 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. EST / 4.00 to 6.45 p.m. CET at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich.
